Technical Advisor and Project Manager The overall accountability is to lead on the strategic projects in relation to the Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre, providing technical input as required to ensure the projects can be validated in terms of approach and costs. The role will also manage the suppliers engaged to deliver the projects with an active role on site to provide oversight. In addition, there are a number of smaller site upgrade projects that this role will oversee and manage in conjunction with the site operations team. Long Marston Fleet Services

Data Engineer The overall objective of the role is to support Porterbrook in maintaining the value of company assets and to ensure that their customers are fully satisfied with the product they lease. This role will support the delivery and development of the Porterbrook Digital Services Portfolio. This includes architecting and delivering a high performance data ingestion and transformation platform and offering solutions to improve the performance of the data platform to create a secure and stable solution for Porterbrook’s products. Senior Category Buyer (Fixed Term Contract to the end of 2022) Responsible for supporting Category Managers in the sourcing of components and services to support the category strategies underpinning the procurement requirements of the business. Ensuring that the best value for money is obtained, while adhering to the highest level of quality and supplier performance. Acting as the interface between the engineering/project management function and rest of the team, ensuring that all service levels are achieved, and issues escalated in a timely manner. Bid Coordinator To manage the day-to-day activities relating to commercial tenders for new rolling stock and associated opportunities. A key requirement will be the management of internal stakeholders to co-ordinate the bidding activities and ensure the timely delivery of documents to meet internal and external deadlines. The objective is to ensure a consistent and effective output, reflective of Porterbrook’s brand that planning is applied and appropriate resource is available so that we deliver highly compelling and profitable bids. Head of Procurement This role will provide leadership to the procurement function, to develop and deliver strategies for categories of goods or services. The role has responsibility for the contracting arrangements with supply chain partners, developing supplier relationships and continuous improvement. Collaborating with existing and potential supply chain partners, the role aims to build long-term value by developing the necessary capabilities to ensure the company’s future needs are met in a sustainable way.
