New freight wagons to bolster GB Railfreight’s capacity
A further 50 additional JNA-X Box Wagons will support the UK’s rail freight capacity, following a new agreement between Porterbrook and GB Railfreight.
The new wagons, which are manufactured by Greenbrier, will be delivered by the end of 2025. The deal expands Porterbrook’s portfolio to 426 freight wagons in total, with 200 dedicated to the intermodal sector and 226 supporting construction.
