Porterbrook Appoints New Head Of Procurement
Anvesh Prasad has joined Porterbrook as the company’s new Head of Procurement.
Anvesh has a background in engineering and has specialised in procurement over the last 20 years. He joins Porterbrook from SIG plc where he held a senior procurement role and prior to that he worked for a range of high-tech engineering businesses, including BAE Systems, Bombardier and Rolls Royce.
Stephen McGurk, Porterbrook’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: "I am delighted to welcome Anvesh to my team. Porterbrook is looking to invest significant sums in both existing fleets and new trains over the coming years. Anvesh will play a key role in enhancing our partnerships with both the after-market supply chain and OEMs."

Anvesh joined Porterbrook as Head of Procurement on the 12th March 2018.
