Porterbrook was pleased to be invited to speak at the Investors in People (IiP) Celebration Event this week in Solihull.
IiP supports over 50,000 organisations around the world to better lead, support and develop their people at work. Porterbrook embarked on the IiP pathway in 2018 and currently holds a Gold Accreditation.
As part of our commitment to investing in our teams, Porterbrook holds regular workshops for senior managers to discuss the latest IiP data. This enables them to encourage their teams to build initiatives that will make the biggest difference to engagement across the business. To support this, we have introduced consistent training and development support for line managers and aspiring leaders.
Speaking at the celebration event, Nicola Macdonnell, Recruitment and Talent Manager at Porterbrook, said: “Investors in People isn’t just an accreditation for Porterbrook. We believe that the IiP journey underpins everything we do as a HR team and supports the business with continuous improvement.
“There have been a wide range of benefits for Porterbrook, a key one being the cultural change which has been guided by the IiP framework and supports Porterbrook in being a great place to work. This has helped us to implement best practice, and build capability amongst our business leaders. Our IiP practitioner has been invaluable throughout this journey and encouraged us to challenge ourselves.”
