Winners Again At The Golden Spanner Awards 2015
The winners of the annual Modern Railways Golden Spanner Awards were announced at the Fourth Friday Club meeting held on Friday 27th November.
The awards celebrate the efforts of train maintenance teams, depots and rolling stock leasing companies for train reliability.
This year Porterbrook picked up a total of 12 of the 17 available awards including an additional Golden Spanner awarded to mark the Class 458’s achievements in being the most reliable EMU four years in succession.
