Railway 200 is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the rich history of this wonderful industry, but, perhaps more importantly, it’s a time to look forward and ensure that the best days are head of us, not behind.

On Thursday 26 June we attended the launch of 'Inspiration' – the only exhibition train on the UK rail network – which has started its year-long tour as part of rail’s bicentenary.

Porterbrook is proud to have funded the installation of the unique livery of this one-of-a-kind train, which celebrates the past, the present, and working together to inspire an exciting and successful future.

The exhibition train will also appear at Severn Valley Heritage Railway in July and at The Greatest Gathering in August, where Porterbrook will also be attending to exhibit HydroFLEX and our Remote Condition Monitoring Demonstrator.
