We were proud to welcome a record number of people to the Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre for Rail Live in 2024, with over 300 exhibitors and nearly 7,000 attendees.
Organised by Bauer Media, the two-day event is the largest outdoor
rail exhibition representing all aspects of the industry and was
attended by key industry figures.
We joined forces with Primary Engineer for a live engineering challenge with children from local Warwickshire primary schools and senior representatives from the railway. Further celebrating our community partnerships, we also worked with Stratford-upon-Avon charity Escape Arts to display “Stratford’s Lost Railways”, a photographic exhibition at the main entrance to the event.
Inside the Porterbrook marquee we were joined by the National Railway Museum for their “Past Visions of the Future” exhibition, and guests were able to test out Remote Condition Monitoring (RCM) technology with an interactive display created in conjunction with Instrumentel.
After reaching a number of significant milestones since Rail Live 2023, HydroFLEX, the UK’s first heavy-rail hydrogen train, was on show again this year with over 400 visitors each day who were able to get a guided tour of the HydroChamber.
